An infection of the tonsils causing sore throat, difficulty swallowing, swollen glands, and fever, commonly affecting children but can occur at any age.
Croup
A common childhood infection causing a distinctive barking cough, hoarse voice, and noisy breathing. Usually caused by a virus and most severe at night.
COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease)
A progressive lung disease that makes breathing difficult, usually caused by long-term exposure to irritating gases or particles, most commonly cigarette smoke.
